Mitchell Arens

Mitchell Arens is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles. He holds an MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. His film work has premiered at festivals worldwide including Sundance, Cannes, SXSW, TIFF, IDFA, and Doc NYC. He has shot music videos for numerous artists including Ringo Starr, Elton John, Natasha Bedingfield, Nils Lofgren and Dorothy. He has also worked as a commercial DP for a list of clients including Disney, Nickelodeon, Matel, Chevy and Hyundai to name a few. His most recent projects include Seven Days (feature film which premiered at Cinequest and is available on Amazon Prime), Dandelion (feature documentary which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival), and a pair of narrative features currently in post production: Only Heaven Knows (Dir. Nurzhamal Damir) and Heartworm (Dir. Miriam Louise Arens).
